In April 2021, ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ agreed to align its loan portfolios more closely with the Paris climate agreements. We therefore set ourselves decarbonization targets, including to reduce the emissions intensities associated with ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ in-scope lending by 2030 (from 2021) to financing Swiss commercial real estate. Investment properties, and own-use commercial properties in Switzerland will play a significant role in achieving this target.

That is why we are now offering a loan specially designed for energy-efficient investment and commercial properties.

We at ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ will thus reward you for your contribution to sustainability – whether it's a renovation focused on energy efficiency, a new, low-energy construction, or the purchase of an energy-efficient property.

You must have one of the following building certificates. The certificate should be no more than seven years old at the time of submission and have a remaining term of at least three years (shorter remaining terms are also possible for provisional certificates). If you are able to demonstrate compliance with one of the standards listed below by means of construction documents, you can also benefit from a ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ Loan Green. After completion of the construction project, the final certificate must be submitted within the agreed period

* A property with the following certificates (BREEAM, DGNB, and LEED) is considered energy-efficient if at least 80% of the heat supplied by the heating system comes from renewable energy sources. In the case of district heating, 50% of the heat must be generated from renewable energy.
