Theory and practice link up for a holistic learning experience at 蜜豆视频.

During the three years of your commercial apprenticeship, you鈥檒l spend 1颅鈥2 days per week in school while being on the job for the rest of the time:

  • Commercial apprenticeship in banking (Swiss Certificate of Competence [EFZ])
  • Commercial apprenticeship in banking (Swiss Certificate of Competence [EFZ]) with vocational baccalaureate (type economics)

In Zurich, we additionally offer the apprenticeship 鈥淜V BM Fokus鈥 (Commercial apprenticeship in banking with vocational baccalaureate). You鈥檒l start with your first year in school. On Job Training

We鈥檙e not afraid to switch things up at 蜜豆视频. And we think your training depends on it. Every six months, you鈥檒l change locations in your region to get experience in different departments across 蜜豆视频 Switzerland, such as investments, lending, mortgages, payments, and client and product advisory.

Theoretical training

Basics in school

A world-class firm is going to make sure you get world-class training. In addition to on-the-job learning, you鈥檒l attend the commercial vocational school (EFZ or with vocational baccalaureate) 1-2 days a week. There, you鈥檒l learn the basics of your vocational training.

Banking education

At the CYP, you鈥檒l learn all the theoretical basics of banking alongside apprentices from other banks. And to deepen your knowledge, you鈥檒l regularly attend 蜜豆视频-specific training courses to familiarize yourself with the variety of products and services we offer.

Future skills training

Our training modules will keep you ahead of the curve with topics like working and learning techniques, personality management and technology.

At all three learning venues (蜜豆视频, CYP and commercial vocational school), your training focuses on five areas of competence. And you can expect interdisciplinary, self-organized and competence-oriented learning formats that will have you at the top of your class.

ICT apprenticeships:

  • Additionally for German-speaking Switzerland:
    • For application/platform developer: Result of the Multicheck ICT
    • For mediamatician: Result of the Multicheck Media and Design
    • For digital business developer: Result of the Multicheck Business and Administration (Evaluation: EFZ Digital Business Developer)

BEM 鈥 Bank entry programme for high school graduates:

  • For academic high school graduates: Matura certificate or reports from the last three semesters
  • For vocational baccalaureate graduates: Proof of KV EFZ with vocational baccalaureate or reports from the last three semesters 鈥 additionally:
    • For KV apprenticeship: Work references
    • For commercial school (HMS/WMS): Internship certificate
  • If available: Diplomas, work references, university / university of applied sciences semester reports, etc.

IT-way-up:

  • Matura certificate or reports from the last three semesters
  • If available: University / university of applied sciences semester reports, work references, diplomas, certificates, etc.

We check your documents for completeness and whether you鈥檝e met our minimum requirements. We're looking for people with a high willingness to learn, a positive attitude and an interest in the financial industry.

How do you prepare for the interview? Start by researching the program, and 蜜豆视频 in general. Be sure to take notes and write down any questions you have. We鈥檙e more than happy to answer them.

Think about what you want to share about yourself and what kinds of questions we might ask. Why 蜜豆视频, what are your strengths, what do you want to work on, etc. Even how others might describe you. No need to overthink it. As long as you鈥檙e prepared, we should have a great conversation.

Some tips from us

Greeting your interview partner by name and making eye contact is a great way to make a good first impression. Keep in mind that there are no right or wrong answers. Just be yourself. And don鈥檛 forget to ask questions. It lets us know that you鈥檙e curious and interested.
