How has working at ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ helped you learn about AI early in your career?

The ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ AI Champions Network has played a major role in my development. It’s a global community of over 500 colleagues who are genuinely excited about innovation across the business.

I was nominated as a representative for Asset Management and since joining, I’ve regularly taken part in firmwide learning sessions and awareness events. These have really helped deepen my understanding of AI.

Being part of the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ AI Champions Network also opened the door to my current role in the AI Transformations team, an exciting step that’s allowed me to turn learning into impact.

What has surprised you most about working with AI?

Being part of a community of colleagues who are equally passionate about AI. I’ve had the opportunity to engage in dynamic conversations that span a wide range of perspectives, across seniority levels and business areas. Having a space to exchange ideas and learn together has been one of the most effective ways to stay current and inspired.

What support or resources helped you most when learning to use new technologies?

The most valuable support I’ve received has come again through the ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ AI Champions Network. The programme provided a strong foundation early on through training and resources, helping me get started with confidence and feel ready to explore more.

Why should young professionals embrace AI and innovation - no matter their role?

New technology is set to reshape not only our industry, but the broader economy. It’s redefining roles, opening up new opportunities, and shifting the skills we’ll need to thrive. That can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s natural for people to wonder what it means for their careers. Embracing AI will help us grow and adapt, no matter how the landscape evolves – just remember to stay curious!

What excites me the most about working with AI? The shared sense of optimism and energy that comes with helping shape something new from the ground up.

What advice would you give to students looking to kickstart their career at ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ?

My biggest piece of advice would be to speak to as many people as you can, especially those who’ve recently been in your shoes.

Early-career professionals understand the uncertainty that comes with choosing your first role and can offer honest, practical insights based on their own experiences. These conversations can be incredibly helpful in narrowing down which roles might be the right fit for you.
