At ÃÛ¶¹ÊÓƵ closed captions are the preferred solution, they can be turned on and off. The closed captions are turned on by default.

Open captions are always displayed and cannot be turned off. Due to the mandatory use of transcripts, the caption text would be displayed twice when using "open captions".
