How it works

  • Link lists consist of a title and a number of links
  • The icons at the end of the link are given
    • Arrow for internal links
    • PDF icon for PDF links
    • External links
    • Download links
    • Anchor links
  • The following layouts are available:
    • Standard
    • Light
    • Dropdown

How to use it

  • Use link lists at the end of a piece of text to ensure the reading flow is not interrupted.
  • Use meaningful, concise phrases or keywords for link text and create a clear call-to-action.
  • Link-text must be self-explanatory
  • If you have only one link within a text you can use a hyperlink within the text&image component
  • Icons at the end of the link
Use the corresponding link type according to the function. For example, for links within the same page, use the link type 'anchor'.

What to avoid

  • Don't use meaningless link text like 'more'.
  • Try to avoid more than 7 entries per link list.
  • Try to avoid long phrases or complete sentences.

Internal links

  • Internal links should be generated using the option "Select Path" (references). Absolute URLs may not be used.
  • Links should always open in the same window (see separate page on link behavior).
  • Mailto links must be configured so that they open in the same window.
