  • Pippa Yeats is a design and behavioral science expert who has spent fifteen years designing technology for behavioral change in the Global South. She previously led a team at Praekelt.org, designing mobile programs for NGOs and social impact organizations in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Simon de Haan, Turn.io’s Chief Technology Officer, directs its technical strategy. Prior to Turn.io he led Praekelt Foundation’s Vumi messaging platform, supporting initiatives like MomConnect and PeaceTXT, and has worked in regions such as the Middle East, South Africa, and the Netherlands to leverage technology for community development.
  • Gustav Praekelt, a South African technologist, co-founded Turn.io in 2018. Previously, he established the Praekelt Foundation, focused on scalable mobile solutions to improve lives across Africa, including MomConnect, Africa's first universal pregnancy registry.
