It is the scenario that everyone feared: mudslides and landslides have buried or destroyed houses and infrastructure in the community of Blatten. The residents have lost their belongings from one moment to the next. The solidarity among the population is great in the face of the destruction. With emergency aid of 100,000 francs, we support the fund specially launched by the Swiss sponsorship for mountain communities. This will support cleanup work as well as follow-up projects. Additionally, we match donations to the fund up to a total amount of 200,000 francs.
