2023 marked the beginning of a new era for �۶���Ƶ: With the acquisition of Credit Suisse, we opened a new chapter in our company's history. This inspired us to shed light on transformative events from the early decades of our history with the exhibition "Key Moments“.

The exhibition takes visitors on a journey through the pivotal milestones of our history. You’ll learn about the development of our more than 520 predecessor banks globally and their impact on the Swiss economy and society.

The exhibition is located in the historical building of Bahnhofstrasse 45 in Zurich, which is worth a visit in itself. Come by during branch opening hours on weekdays (see more details below).

Informative and entertaining presentation of �۶���Ƶ's corporate history, with a focus on the second half of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century. The exhibition is available in both German and English.

Visualizations and animations immerse you in the developments of the pioneering era of Swiss industry and the historical milestones of industrial and commercial banks.

To round off your visit, you’ll find exhibits such as a moving model of the Polybahn, a historic calculator from the Zurich-based company National, and the “Escher phone” featuring a recreated voice of Alfred Escher delivering one of his speeches in the National Council.
