Abhijit Chakrabortti joined the Brevan Howard Hong Kong office in 2021 as a Senior Strategist. Prior to this, Abhijit worked at the Duquesne Family Office from 2011 – 2020.
Previously, Abhijit held senior positions in Global Equity Strategy Research at Morgan Stanley from 2007 - 2009 and in the Global Research Team at JP Morgan from 2000 - 2007.
In 2023 Abhijit relocated to our Abu Dhabi office.
He was admitted as an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1993.

Most recently, he played a key role in the launch of ۶Ƶ Asset Management’s first tokenized investment fund.
Prior to this role, Andrew was an Executive Director in ۶Ƶ Group Strategy APAC, where he supported cross-divisional strategies and contributed to several of ۶Ƶ’s digital asset initiatives in the Asia Pacific region.

Barry Gill was appointed Head of Investments in November 2019 and is a member of the ۶Ƶ Asset Management Team.
He was Head of Active Equities within ۶Ƶ Asset Management from early 2016 and, before that, joined O’Connor in 2012 as a member of the management group where he ran a concentrated long/short strategy.
Prior to joining O’Connor, Barry was head of the Fundamental Investment Group (Americas) for nearly six years within ۶Ƶ Investment Bank, investing and trading the firm's principal capital.
Barry moved to the US in 2000 from London to rebuild the long/short principal investing effort within Equities following the creation of O’Connor as a hedge fund business.
In his five years in London at SBC and ۶Ƶ, he was co-head of Pan-European Sector Trading, a proprietary book, and co-head of European Risk Program Trading for two years, preceded by two years as the head of the French trading book. Barry joined SBC's European derivatives desk as a graduate trainee in 1995.

Bin Shi is a member of the Emerging Market and Asia Pacific Equities team, located in Hong Kong. He is the lead Portfolio Manager for the China equity strategies.
Prior to joining ۶Ƶ Asset Management, Bin spent three years as Head of International Business, portfolio manager and analyst with Boshi Fund Management Co., one of the largest domestic mutual fund companies in China. Prior to that, he worked in the US for eight years as portfolio manager and analyst for several US mutual fund firms.
Bin joined ۶Ƶ in January 2006 and has managed the Greater China Fund since April 2006. He also manages the China Opportunity, China A and All China strategies since inception in July 2010, March 2007 and May 2018 respectively.

Prior to joining Apollo in 2018, Brigitte was Global Head of Emerging Markets Corporate Credit at Barings Asset Management, where she established its dedicated EM Corporate Credit funds and co-led the blended EM Debt Total Return strategy.
Previously, she spent five years at PIMCO where she oversaw the strategies for EM Corporate Credit, Global Credit and Multi-Sector Fixed Income.
Before PIMCO, Brigitte had senior roles at both Deutsche Bank and Moody’s with responsibility for structured credit and mortgage-backed securities in Latin America. She started her career in Brazil working as a Credit Analyst and origination.
Brigitte received a BA from Mackenzie University of Sao Paulo and enrolled in a graduate management program from Harvard University.

Chris started his career at Merrill Lynch in 2000. He obtained his BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol in June 2000.

Diego is based in New York / Singapore. He is a world-renowned expert on Sovereign Wealth Funds, having acted as practitioner and advisor for many years and published several articles in leading academic journals. He has worked as a consultant of the World Bank and of the United Nations and supported the establishment or reformulation of a number of SWFs around the world.
In the past few years, he has reshaped the SWF industry by establishing several key initiatives including the Global SWF Data Platform, the GSR Scoreboard for best practices among institutional investors, and the SWF Academy to nurture the future leaders of the world’s top sovereign and pension funds.
Prior to establishing Global SWF, Diego spent five years building up PwC’s footprint in the SWF industry as the Director and COO of the global practice, based in Abu Dhabi and New York. He has also worked for KPMG and Santander and has lived in Europe, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brazil and the US.
A Spanish-American dual citizen and Singapore resident, he earned his Master of Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE) after graduating in the Universities of Madrid and Milan. Diego is a prolific open water and ice swimmer and has raced in all seven continents including Antarctica. He is the author of the book "Continents Seven: Values for sports, business and life, learned around the world".

Edoardo Rulli is the Head of Hedge Funds at Unified Global Alternatives (UGA), based in London. UGA combines the manager selection capabilities from across ۶Ƶ’s Asset Management and Global Wealth Management businesses to serve the needs of its UHNW, institutional and wholesale clients globally.
Edoardo is responsible for managing and overseeing investments of third-party active investment strategies across hedge funds. He leads the global Hedge Funds investment team and oversees all aspects of portfolio management, asset allocation and manager selection.
Edoardo was previously the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Head of ۶Ƶ Hedge Fund Solutions (HFS), where he was also a member of the HFS Management and Senior Investment Forums, and Chair of the Review Committee. Edoardo was also a member of ۶Ƶ Asset Management Investments Management Committee.
Edoardo is a Senior Manager Function Holder for ۶Ƶ AM (UK) Ltd. He also sits on the ۶Ƶ Optimus Foundation (UK) Limited Board, which supports organizations that are working to transform educational outcomes in the UK.
Prior to re-joining ۶Ƶ in 2016, Edoardo was Head of Research at Falcon Money Management where he joined as partner in 2009.
Prior to that in 2008, he was a Director at ۶Ƶ A&Q AIS, the predecessor unit of HFS, in London.
Before that, Edoardo was a Senior Analyst at Tremont Capital Management in London in 2004, a multi-billion fund of funds.

Dr Khoo has over 28 years of experience in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide investment, banking and risk management models, systems and processes incl. ESG/Responsible Investing. He gained deep practical insights from a career spanning across financial institutions in the USA, Canada, UK and Singapore, including the UK-listed Man Group where he was the Principal Scientist (while still at NTU), designing and running an algorithmic AI-based hedge fund on a supercomputing platform, at American Bourses Corporation which provided robo-based analytical solutions and financial info-utilities to traders and investors in the USA and N Asia, at ATOS Origin, RHB Capital, Singapore Exchange, Standard Chartered Bank, Temasek Holdings, Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), CAI, the global investment arm of Changi Airport Group (CAG) and AEPW (Alliance to End Plastic Waste), primarily as the Head of Risk Management or at Group CRO level.
He holds a PhD in Computational Physics (Material Science) from the National University of Singapore, with post-doctorate R&D in AI-based data mining and applications in Japan and the US. He was also a co-founder of the NTU Centre for Financial Engineering and the MSc in Financial Engineering programme in collaboration with CMU, Pittsburgh in 1999, when he was an academic at NTU from 1993 to 2000.
He also helped establish AIMCo’s Responsible Investing Unit in 2011, where he was the Head of ERM/GRC and Proxy Voting as well. At AIMCo, as the Deputy CRO, he was also a member of the investment committee involved in approving investments via relationship investing/stakeholder engagement, e.g., in Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and Glass Lewis.
For the last few years, with his experiences in responsible investing and governance, he has also been leading some training and development initiatives in sustainability-related project and impact financing and education incl. sustainable investing seminars for the institutional investment management and banking industry at SMU, AEPW, private and wholesale banks in the ASEAN region, KL-based ASB (Asia School of Business) and the SWF Academy at the London Business School (Dubai and London) previously and INSEAD (from 2025 in Abu Dhabi and S’pore) campuses.
As an academic at Nanyang Technological University, he co-designed the first environmental science module (as a free elective for all NTU undergrads) in 1997, which included teaching on the effects of climate change on human society and biodiversity. He also published A Guide to the Flora and Fauna of Schools in Singapore in 1991 and participated in a Malayan Nature Society scientific expedition to the Endau-Rompin forest reserve in Malaysia in 1989 to investigate and research the changing state of biodiversity due to climate change and human interactions.

Kevin Zhu is currently the Chief of Investment Strategy at Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of overall global investment strategy for the State of Qatar Sovereign Wealth Fund.
Kevin has almost 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including both central banking and total portfolio investment framework and strategy design for large institutional investors.
Prior to joining QIA, Kevin was Senior Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Construction for OPTrust, one of the largest public sector pension funds in Canada. Kevin was leading Total Fund portfolio management functions, including portfolio construction research and innovation, capital and risk allocation across asset classes and strategies, total portfolio management framework design, and dynamic asset allocation strategies. Prior to OPTrust, Kevin held the position of Director, Strategy & Asset Mix at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
Prior to this appointment, Kevin was Senior Economist at the Bank of Canada focusing on monetary policy research and model development. He holds a MA in Economics from Carleton University and is a CFA Charterholder. In 2017, Kevin was named to Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute’s Public Investor 100. In 2023, Kevin’s team at OPTrust won the Institutional Connect’s Investment Team Award within Canadian financial industry.

As Head of Global Strategy Max analyzes the market trends affecting the investment behavior of central banks, sovereign wealth funds and other state-controlled investment institutions and work closely with investment teams in providing investment advice and developing tailored investment solutions for this client segment. Max established himself as a global thought leader on the macroeconomic, financial and political trends in sovereign wealth management. He has often been called in by leading institutions as an expert on global economic and financial matters. Max has recently published The New Economics of Sovereign Wealth Funds in the Wiley Finance Series, a book providing a thorough guide to sovereign wealth funds, covering the drivers of the industry, how it operates and grows, the interest from and in Western markets and the pivotal role that sovereign wealth funds play in the world economy.
In his 16-year international professional career, Max has been Head of governmental affairs for ۶Ƶ in Europe, Middle East and Africa, EMEA Senior Economist and consultant advising governments and corporates in emerging markets on behalf of international institutions.

Matthias is the head of Analytics & Quantitative Modelling (AQM) in Investment Solutions at ۶Ƶ Asset Management. In his role, Matthias is responsible for leading analytics, alpha signals research and portfolio construction tool efforts in Investment Solutions.
Previously, Matthias was Chief Investment Officer at FLYNT Bank AG, and has worked in various roles in the CIO Office at ۶Ƶ Wealth Management, at ۶Ƶ Investment Bank, Deutsche Bank, and the KOF Swiss Economic Institute of the ETH Zurich.
Matthias holds a Ph.D. in applied macroeconomics and behavioral finance from ETH Zurich, a Master of Science from Oxford University and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the American University of Paris.
Matthias is also a lecturer at the University of Zurich and gives executive class lectures at the Swiss Finance Institute. His research has been published in various leading academic journals.

He has been featured in top 3 rankings in external surveys in the sectors he has covered. Since 2019, Sunil has been writing equity strategy research. Sunil joined ۶Ƶ in 2020. Sunil is an MBA (PGDM) from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a B.Tech (Computer Science) from National Institute of Technology, Trichy.

Ulrich Keller heads UGA Solutions within Unified Global Alternatives, based in Zurich. UGA combines the manager selection capabilities from across ۶Ƶ’s Asset Management and Global Wealth Management businesses to serve the needs of its UHNW, institutional and wholesale clients globally.
Ulrich’s team is responsible for creating multi alternative portfolios for clients, specializing in both customized portfolios for achieving specific client outcomes, as well as multi alternative co-mingled products emphasizing access to co-investment opportunities.
He serves as Chairperson of the UGA Solutions Investment Committee.
Ulrich joined ۶Ƶ in 2023, following the acquisition of Credit Suisse. He was previously CIO of Liquid Alternative Investments, Investment Solutions and Products (IS&P) within Credit Suisse, a premier provider of alternative investment services for institutional and private clients globally. He was overseeing all investment due diligence efforts as well as portfolio management, including customized portfolio solutions and investment due diligence advisory services across alternative asset categories.
Ulrich also started a direct infrastructure investment capability (Energy Infrastructure Partners) and led this business as Chairman of the entity and was also a member of the Investment Committee.
Ulrich joined Credit Suisse from ۶Ƶ in 2011. In the latter role he spent 11 years in various positions including Head and CIO of the Alternative Funds Advisory (AFA), the Swiss unit of the alternative investments business within ۶Ƶ Asset Management.
He is a Gödecke Research Prize laureate, which is an industry-backed award for applied research in mathematical finance.

Vikas Agarwal is a Portfolio Manager and Partner based in Singapore. An FX specialist, Mr. Agarwal trades across all major liquid asset classes, with a particular focus on Asia and emerging markets. Prior to joining Symmetry, Mr. Agarwal was a Managing Director for TRG Management from 2011 to 2015, where he was responsible for investments in Asian currencies and interest rates. Between 2006 and 2011, Mr. Agarwal worked for JP Morgan on its fixed income and FX trading desk, and as a strategist focusing on the Indian market. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Mr. Agarwal was a strategist at Doric Research since 2005. Mr. Agarwal started his career as a fixed income strategist with ICICI Bank’s Treasury department in 2004.

Willem began his financial career in 1990 working in Equity Sales, initially for Lehman Bros, followed by Morgan Stanley, both based in London. He spent 21 years at Morgan Stanley in a variety of roles, both as a senior coverage person and manager including co-Head of Cash Equity Sales in Europe with specific responsibility for Continental Europe. He was a member of the Operating Committee in Morgan Stanley's European Equity Division.
